![]() Ironic that Quest refused to send a check for $3.00 because it was too small of an amount, but expects the patient to send a check for $2.65. Patient faxed all original backup along with a new cover letter explaining in detail the original issue leaving a credit balance of $3.00 along with the new bill showing the $2.65 due. ************ claims there was nothing in the file noting that there should be a credit. Patient called Quest on 6/6/23, spoke to ************ and explained that $3.00 credit should be applied. Quest sent invoice requesting payment of $2.65. All backup information was faxed to Quest on 1/20/23. Quest stated that they would NOT issue a refund check for $3.00 but patient can apply $3.00 credit to their next bill. Patient paid $21.62 but on 1/20/23 patient called, spoke to ****** at Quest & explained that patient overpaid $3.00. Quest Charged $137.24 & applied a discount of $112.62 but insurance company negotiated $115.62 discount. It is helpful to have your insurance card in front of you when providing this information.
